Dates & opening hours

Our seasonal campsite is open from 28 March to 30 September 2026.

We handle booking request by phone and email all year round, so you can plan your next summer holiday in the middle of winter!

For stays in June, July and August, it’s advisable to book your pitch or accommodation in advance. During these three busy months, we strongly recommend that you contact us by telephone or email to check availability: the Sancerre landscapes are highly sought-after!

Reception opening hours:
Our reception is open from 8.30am to 12pm and from 2pm to 7pm. An on-call service is available out of these hours.

Check-in :
Check-in are from 4pm for guests staying in one of our fully equipped tents or mobil-homes, and from 2pm for guests who have booked an empty spot.

Late check-in are possible until 10pm on request: we simply ask that you pay for your stay before 7pm on the day of your arrival.

Check-out :
Check-out is before 10am for guests staying in one of our fully equipped tents or mobil-homes, and before noon for guests who have booked a pitch.

Location and access

How to come to Saint-Satur

Located 45 minutes from Bourges, the Saint-Satur camping ‘Les Portes de Sancerre’ enjoys a privileged location: the town center is just few minutes walk from our establishment and the banks of the Loire are accessible from the camping.

Come by bike

Take the Loire à Vélo cycle route.

Come by car

Take the A77 (exit 24) or the A71 (exit 7).

Come by train

Get off the train at Tracy-sur-Loire or Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire stations.

Every Thursday morning is market day in Saint-Satur! Come and meet the local producers who bring this beautiful countryside market to life.

You will also find various local shops and supermarkets in the town centre. Don’t forget to visit the Berry wine producers who open their cellars to the public!
